Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Monitor Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months' travel Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed Job Title: Monitor Technician I - FS Job Summary: Under general supervision, the Monitor Technician I is responsible for monitoring telemetry set up on patients. This role involves ensuring accurate rhythm strip printouts, maintaining alarm settings, assisting with equipment troubleshooting, and alerting staff during patient crises. The technician also performs ECGs as needed and maintains supplies for the monitor area. Required Qualifications: • Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association upon hire. Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge of basic arrhythmia interpretations and performing ECG tracings. • Good computer skills. • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff.
