Description:

Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Shift: 1st Shift ( Monday – Friday )
Duration: 0 – 6 Months
Pay: $26.00/Hour

Job Duties (Responsibilities):

  • Perform incoming and outgoing material inspections at Distribution Centers (USA & Canada).
  • Support turbine downtime reduction through on-site component inspections.
  • Handle and manage materials as per safety and quality standards.
  • Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials.
  • Coordinate and follow up with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Support corrective and preventive actions using tools like 8D.
  • Maintain and update quality systems and software.
  • Manage quality quarantine area and support inventory control.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (operations, logistics, supplier quality, safety).
  • Identify and report HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) risks.
  • Provide quality support to supplier quality teams across regions.
  • Travel to other distribution centers for inspections (quarterly visits).

Qualifications (Skills, Education & Experience):

Education:

  • Technical/Associate degree or equivalent experience in quality, mechanical, electrical, or industrial fields.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (optional).
  • Knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) is a plus.

Experience & Technical Skills:

  • 3–5 years of experience in quality inspection, warehouse, logistics, or similar roles.
  • Experience in distribution centers or manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of material handling, inventory control, and inspection processes.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.

Communication Skills:

  • English required.
  • Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate with teams in a multicultural environment.

Analytical & Other Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze inspection data and support corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with inspection techniques and supplier quality processes.
