Job Description

In the context of this opening, we are looking for our future Commis de Salle on a seasonal fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Director of Catering and their assistants, you contribute to the quality of thewelcome and the customer experience by ensuring the setup, service follow-up, and maintenance of the dining areas. Your role is essential for the operational functioning of the restaurant and the fluidity of service.

Your Role

As a Commis de Salle, you actively participate in the preparation and smooth running of the restaurant service. Before each service, you contribute to the setup of the restaurant, set the tables according to the standards of the Saint Roch, prepare the necessary equipment, and ensure the cleanliness of furniture, dishes, and equipment. You restock the workstations to ensure a smooth and efficient organization.

During the service, you assist the Head Waiters, bring dishes and drinks to the tables, clear tables, and participate in the readjustment. You also restock the essential elements for the service. Attentive and courteous, you welcome guests, answer their simple requests, and direct specific requests to the Head Waiter, all while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.

You contribute to maintaining the cleanliness of the dining room and kitchens, clean and store the equipment after service, and participate in the end-of-service cleaning in compliance with hygiene and safety standards. Finally, you ensure smooth communication between the dining room and the kitchen, collaborate effectively with all teams, and participate in briefings and debriefings to guarantee a harmonious and impeccable service.
