Details MRI department in an acute care hospital setting Medical patient population with a 1:1 patient ratio EMR: Epic 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Weekend and call coverage required as needed 13-week contract Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent MRI experience License required if applicable — must be active at time of consideration with no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment unless renewal documentation is provided A valid U.S. Social Security Number is required; Canadian SINs are not accepted No gaps in employment of 90 days within the past 12 months Additional Information Perform MRI examinations using established protocols for technical factors, patient positioning, and computer manipulation across a broad patient population including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric Prepare and administer contrast agents per MRI protocols and instruct patients on procedure requirements such as breathing and motion instructions Ensure accuracy of requisitions, PACS, and associated computer systems, and complete Continuous Quality Improvement functions as assigned Black scrubs required Up to 5 days of RTO is allowed but must be made up during the assignment Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate; local candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before a 1-year separation or reassignment outside the radius is required American Traveler Job ID P-719945.
