Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end payroll operations to ensure accurate and timely employee compensation processing. Oversee payroll data entry, including hours worked, deductions, taxes, and payroll adjustments. Manage payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, Paychex, UltiPro, or similar platforms. Reconcile payroll accounts and general ledger entries to maintain accurate financial records. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and filing requirements. Partner with HR to support benefits administration, enrollments, changes, and terminations. Generate payroll expense reports, compensation analysis, and related financial reporting for leadership review. Support audits by preparing payroll documentation and maintaining organized records. Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies while improving accuracy and efficiency. Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations. Provide leadership and support to payroll staff or cross-functional teams as needed. Other duties as assigned. Required Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. Minimum of 5-8 years of payroll experience required. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) strongly preferred. Strong experience managing full-cycle payroll processing. Experience with payroll systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, UltiPro, Kronos, Ceridian, or similar Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements. Knowledge of accounting principles including journal entries, debits/credits, and general ledger reconciliation. Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar systems preferred. High attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work onsite.
