Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiographer II - Radiographer II

Job Details:

• Perform advanced level professional work in exposing and processing radiographic images and fluoroscopy examinations under general supervision
• Operate standard and portable radiology equipment for radiographic examinations and fluoroscopy studies, including intravenous pyelography, cystography, gastro-intestinal series and body section radiography
• Support mobile mammography coach that travels weekly to sites across Oklahoma with hotel and food expenses covered during travel weeks
• Must be a registered Mammography Tech with minimum three years of experience
• Assist physicians and perform specialized imaging procedures
• Circulate to other diagnostic radiology areas as assigned including surgery, trauma, and pediatrics
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems regarding equipment and/or film output
• Act as a resource and preceptor for other Radiographers and/or students
• Maintain records, inventory, and equipment for area of primary responsibility
• Ability to assess, treat, and care for patients of varying ages
• Required certifications: ARDMS, ARRT and/or CCI credentials in cardiovascular or radiologic technology specialty, AHA BLS
• Graduate of CAAHEP accredited educational program with cardiovascular specialty emphasis OR JRCERT accredited program with radiologic technology specialty emphasis
• Knowledge of diagnostic radiography techniques and radiographic equipment operation and maintenance
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate technical information to patients and families
