Description
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for maintaining efficient warehouse operations by managing inventory, storage, fulfilling orders, assembling parts/components, and ensuring accurate records. Attention to details, organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively are essential for this role.
Position Responsibilities
• Assist in the maintenance of accurate records of all parts in the warehouse, including regular cycle counts and updating inventory systems.
• Unload incoming shipments by hand or with forklift, verifying the contents and inspecting for any damage or defects.
• Organize parts within the warehouse according to binning, racking, and or shelving.
• Fulfill orders by picking and assembling orders based on customer ticket or internal service request.
• Responsible for packaging orders securely and preparing for shipment by coordinating with shipping carriers and adhering to pick up and drop off time durations.
• Collaborating with other departments or teams, such as Service, Sales, or Accounting to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
• Cut and band hoses.
• Assist with part deliveries or pickups as needed.
• Cover the back counter when needed during the day, during breaks and during night shift.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazard to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and complete any required screenings.
• Basic knowledge of inventory systems, warehouse operations, relevant industry terminology and parts identification.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in written or verbal skills with management and team members.
Physical Requirements
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, climb and sit for long periods of time in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in written and verbal skills with customers, management, and team members.
• Computer work as needed in an office setting to include inventory programs and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Travel as needed to other Company locations by vehicle, plane, or train.
