Working out of a company vehicle you can take home, Fire Suppression & Fire Extinguisher Technicians will test, inspect, repair, and perform preventative maintenance to a variety of fixed industrial fire suppression systems in kitchen and paint booth settings, emergency lighting systems, fire extinguisher repairs and filling; completing documentation of work performed using a tablet; other related duties as required.

SUPPRESSION TECHNICIAN JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• At least two (2) years experience independently inspecting and/or performing maintenance to fire suppression systems and fire extinguishers
• NAFED Certifications (or willing to obtain) Engineered Fire Suppression System, Portable Fire Extinguisher, and Pre-Engineered Industrial Systems
• NICET Certifications (or willing to obtain): Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarms Systems Level I, Special Hazards Systems Level I, and/or Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarms Systems Level II
• Experienced with a variety of brands such as ANSUL, Pyro Chem, RangeGuard, Kidde, Piranha, etc.
• Knowledgeable of NFPA10, NFPA -17, and NFPA-17A
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks (Criminal, MVR, Physical, and Drug Testing)

SHIFT: Days, 8:00am - 5:00pm (Monday - Friday). OT after 40 hours. On-Call 1 week/month (Monday - Sunday).
