Vendor Management Specialist

This position is for a Vendor Management Specialist that will support the Eagle Supply Component Repair Operations at OKC. The successful candidate will perform critical tasks to achieve performance metrics and contractual compliance for assigned military programs. You will be supporting the F100, F119, F135, respectively, for OCONUS vendors, which may require flexible hours to support.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage Key Performance Metrics (KPIs) for each assigned vendor to achieve performance goals.
  • Manage contract requirements for each assigned vendor.
  • Develop and communicate weekly operational reports for each assigned International Vendor.
  • Hold weekly vendor meetings to ensure OTD and resolve issues.
  • Manage and resolve within 48 hours repaired parts by assigned vendor that are reported in Quality Clinic.
  • Manage lost, damaged, and destroyed parts for Government Property accountability.
  • Analyze data from SAP, Qlik, and Power BI to track parts, create reports, and share issues with Eagle Supply team.
  • Monitor shipping gates for assigned vendor.
  • Track parts shipped from assigned supplier.
  • Document and track out-of-process situations.
  • Create and present assigned Vendor Business Reviews.
  • Generate and manage weekly Delivery Assurance Audits.
  • Actively engage and participate in Continuous Improvement Initiatives through CORE Events and Root-Cause-Corrective-Actions (RCCAs)
  • Support team events and meetings, when scheduled.
  • Proactively solve problems across all vendors to ensure program success daily.
  • Review & Create work instructions, process flow maps and standard work.
  • Ensure AS9100 compliance is adhered to across all work-related documents and procedures.
  • Role requires flexibility and intermittent working hours to accommodate vendor interactions in different time zones.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience working in an operational environment: aerospace, warehousing or production; or an advanced degree in a relevant discipline. An Associate's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Ability to understand and follow simple to complex work instructions, such as: operation sheets and simple drawings, and process operating procedures.
  • Must be able to work overtime and be available for any shift assignment.
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs., stand, and work for extended periods of time.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or recent military background with an active government Secret Clearance.
  • 2+ years of previous work experience with operating technical machinery.
  • 2+ years of experience reading and interpreting 2D drives, Micrometers, and Calipers.
  • 2+ years of experience using fixed or variable measuring instruments to check dimensions.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
