What You'll Be Doing:
Lead and manage the design and delivery of civil engineering projects, including site development, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design
Prepare and review detailed engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and public agencies to ensure successful project outcomes
Serve as a technical expert and quality control reviewer on complex design challenges
Oversee permitting processes and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers
Participate in proposal development, project scoping, and fee estimation
Support business development by nurturing client relationships and identifying new opportunities
What You Bring to the Team:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience, preferably in consulting or private-sector infrastructure projects
Proficiency in civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD)
Strong understanding of civil site design, grading, stormwater management, and utility coordination
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated leadership and project management experience
Essential Physical Functions:
Sit/stand at a desk or computer
Walk, stoop, stand and move around job sites
Travel and occasional site visits requiring stooping, standing, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
Frequent communication via phone, video, or in-person meetings
Ability to focus on digital and paper-based information for extended periods
Some project-based travel may be required
