MHS seeks devoted married couples to serve as flex houseparents. In this vital role, you will live in on-campus student homes and provide guidance and nurturing to a group of approximately 8-12 students, establishing a caring, family-like atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include driving, administering medications, managing budgets, and reporting, with initial assignments varying across different student homes before a specific assignment is made.

Benefits Include:

  • Attractive salary of $44,768 per person, resulting in total compensation of approximately $165,000 per couple.

  • Relocation assistance and paid training provided.
  • A flexible schedule of nine days on, followed by three days off, with personal time included on workdays.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working or volunteering with youth, particularly from underserved backgrounds.
  • Couples must have been legally married for a minimum of two years.
  • Both partners should be aged 27 or older.
  • No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
  • Compliance with a smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy; no alcohol is permitted while on duty.
  • Pet limitations apply: only fish and one dog of approved breeds are allowed.
  • Possession of a valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
  • Comfort leading daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (proselytizing prohibited).
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong integrity as role models for students is required.
  • Both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
