As an Emergency Dispatcher, you will make a difference every day. You help people during moments of urgent need and impact how well the police, fire, and after-hour emergency maintenance personnel perform their jobs. You are an important part of the public safety team that protects the lives & property of Edmond's residents.
Duties of a dispatcher include receiving, prioritizing, and dispatching both emergency and non-emergency telephone calls. During these calls, dispatchers aid emergency callers, help them establish composure, obtain essential information from the caller, and dispatch the appropriate emergency personnel.
