Under minimal supervision, responsible for the operation of the central plant for OU Health, performs visual inspections for operating equipment and mechanical systems, implements unit specific and facility-wide Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) preventative maintenance and repair solutions that enhance and support OUH operational and business performance.
Education: Associate Degree in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technology required.
Experience: Three (3) years of experience as a licensed HVAC technician required, healthcare field experience preferred.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: State of Oklahoma Unlimited Mechanical Journeyman's license required. Technician Type Universal EPA certification, City of Oklahoma City boiler operator registration, and State of Oklahoma Boiler Operator licenses Class 3 required within 6 months of hire.
