Job Details
Entry-level position working under supervision to deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients.
Provides safe, high quality, efficient, and cost-effective patient-centric care in various care settings including inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic centers, and outreach clinics.
Prepares patients for procedures and correlates clinical history with physician orders.
Communicates and collaborates with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care team to achieve clinical outcomes and operational goals.
Utilizes specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment and techniques for diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures.
Conducts post-procedure reviews to ensure documentation and technical quality per protocols and accreditation standards.
Transfers images and data to archival systems and prepares studies for physician reporting.
Performs quality control, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
Participates in continuing education, professional development, and research to maintain competencies and improve care.
Job Requirements
Skill in cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, medical terminology, patient positioning, and medical ethics.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions reliably.
Sensitivity to patients' physical and psychological needs.
Ability to maintain accurate records and work with names, numbers, and codes.
Ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.
Discretion in handling confidential information and sound judgment.
Ability to multi-task and remain calm in stressful situations.
Understanding of operations, policies, and procedures.
Professional communication with staff, patients, and families.
High level of initiative, effort, and commitment to completing assignments efficiently.
Ability to work with minimum supervision and attention to detail.
Core knowledge of anatomy, physiology, cardiovascular and/or radiologic technologies and terminology.
Ability to apply primary specialty theory and techniques to perform and document studies with general supervision.
Additional Details
Must be able to consistently and dependably report to work as scheduled.
