- Job Details
- Entry-level position working under supervision to deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients.
- Provides safe, high quality, efficient, and cost-effective patient-centric care in various care settings including inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic centers, and outreach clinics.
- Prepares patients for procedures and correlates clinical history with physician orders.
- Communicates and collaborates with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care team to achieve clinical outcomes and operational goals.
- Utilizes specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment and techniques for diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures.
- Conducts post-procedure reviews to ensure documentation and technical quality per protocols and accreditation standards.
- Transfers images and data to archival systems and prepares studies for physician reporting.
- Performs quality control, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
- Participates in continuing education, professional development, and research to maintain competencies and improve care.
- Job Requirements
- Skill in cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, medical terminology, patient positioning, and medical ethics.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions reliably.
- Sensitivity to patients' physical and psychological needs.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and work with names, numbers, and codes.
- Ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.
- Discretion in handling confidential information and sound judgment.
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm in stressful situations.
- Understanding of operations, policies, and procedures.
- Professional communication with staff, patients, and families.
- High level of initiative, effort, and commitment to completing assignments efficiently.

- Core knowledge of anatomy, physiology, cardiovascular and/or radiologic technologies and terminology.
- Ability to apply primary specialty theory and techniques to perform and document studies with general supervision.
