NETTTS (New England Tractor Trailer Training School) is seeking a dedicated and driven Director of Career Services to oversee all aspects of student job placement and career support.In this key leadership role, you'll help shape the future of our students by connecting them with meaningful employment opportunities, managing campus career services operations, and building long-term partnerships with employers in the transportation, logistics, and skilled trades industries.What You'll DoDevelop and maintain employer relationships to create job opportunities for students and graduates.Provide individualized support to students throughout their job search and training.Conduct employer outreach and maintain a consistent pipeline of job leads.Deliver engaging in-class presentations on career readiness and job search strategies.Guide students through resume writing, applications, interview prep, and pre-hire processes.Track student progress toward licensure and employment outcomes post-graduation.Maintain accurate documentation in CVUE and ensure compliance with ACCSC and other regulatory bodies.Lead and support the Career Services team, ensuring quality support and achievement of campus goals.Organize and host campus career fairs; represent NETTTS at job fairs and employment-related events.Who You Are:An organized, student-focused professional with strong leadership skills.Comfortable speaking publicly, mentoring others, and developing new relationships.Proactive, goal-oriented, and committed to compliance and data accuracy.Qualifications:Required2+ years of experience in career services, student advising, job development, or a related administrative or sales role.High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.PreferredIndustry knowledge in commercial trucking, transportation, logistics, or HVAC.Existing employer network in relevant fields.Core Competencies:Excellent communication and public speaking skillsStrong organizational and follow-through abilitiesAbility to build rapport with students and employersComputer proficiency and data entry accuracyUnderstanding of employment documentation and placement standardsSupervisory Responsibilities:Manage and mentor Career Services Advisors to support daily operations and student success.Travel:Occasional day travel to employer sites and external eventsMinimal overnight travelWhy NETTTS?At NETTTS, we're more than a school—we're a launchpad for people's careers.
