About the Role: As a Medical Assistant, you will assist with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a healthcare provider, ensuring the best patient care experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with treatments ordered by the healthcare provider, performing select clinical duties.
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and accurately record information in patient charts.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
• Perform basic clerical duties such as answering phones, maintaining records, and filing.
• Manage supplies by ordering and stocking to maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Work safely and remain alert at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED, or 10 years of relevant work experience.

Experience:

• No prior experience is required.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing and walking.
• Ability to communicate effectively using hearing and speech.
• Frequent handling of light-weight items (0-25 lbs).
• Visual acuity for near and far distances.
• Occasionally lift and move patients, with some heavier lifting (up to 50 lbs) as needed.

Certification: Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
