Parts Room Associate II (Oklahoma City)

The Parts Room Associate II is responsible for maintaining stock of MRO spare parts and consumables, including purchasing, inventory accuracy, managing consumption/usage, and ensuring appropriate on-hand levels to ensure line uptime.

Essential Functions

  1. Purchasing:
    • Restocks consumables, critical spare parts, and parts inventory.
    • Provides PO delivery status updates for outstanding orders from vendors.
    • Corrects and manages AP MRO Outstanding Issues.
    • Receives all deliveries (UPS/FedEx/Etc.).
    • Manages inter-organizational shipping and receiving.
  2. Inventory Management:
    • Manages physical spare parts inventory and ensures proper storage.
    • Maintains and receives all spare parts inventory in Oracle EBS & Power Pick Global systems.
    • Performs weekly/quarterly MRO Cycle counts, researches, and reconciles discrepancies.
    • Organizes parts room area per 5S Process.
    • Tracks, maintains, and files warranty claims.
    • Identifies parts in E-CAT system.
  3. Maintenance Planning:
    • Generates and completes PM Work Order Scripts and manages work order backlog.
    • Facilitates maintenance planning meetings.
    • Assists technicians during downtime events.
    • Provides database support on-site as a subject matter expert.
    • Assists with annual machine rebuilds.
    • Creates PM Plans for line downtime, optimizing labor availability.
    • Ensures completion of PMs at scheduled intervals.
    • Coordinates with Maintenance and Production Teams for repair work orders.
    • Evaluates PM effectiveness.
    • Ensures material and labor costs are properly captured.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining vendor relationships, sourcing items, tracking work orders, participating in educational opportunities, ensuring safety and attendance, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: 2 years experience in a similar manufacturing environment, managing people/projects, and in the specific role.
  • Proficient in Inventory Management Systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.), CMMS/ERP, MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Preferred: 4 years experience in similar roles and systems.

  • Preferred: Associate's Degree.

Compensation Range

Hourly $20.86 - $27.64
