Please do not contact the recruiter directly.What this job involves -Will play a pivotal role in transforming Government Client maintenance operations into strategic, efficient, and effective functions. This role involves implementing strategic improvements in building and equipment maintenance operations, ensuring high compliance with Government Client maintenance protocols, and enhancing facility condition scores while reducing equipment downtime.You will not perform actual maintenance or repair work themselves. Their role is to assess, plan, guide, and facilitate effective maintenance operations across their assigned facilities.Required travel: 60% to 70% to Government Client sites with adherence to General Services Administration policies.US citizenship is required for this position due to government contract requirements.What is your day to day?Conduct quarterly facility condition assessmentsEnsure compliance with Government Client maintenance policies and standardsReport operational and compliance issues to Facilities HQCommunicate maintenance standards to local plant leadershipDevelop short-term and long-term maintenance action plansCollaborate with Postal Service Maintenance and Facilities personnelInclude site-specific tasks, challenges, and stakeholders in plansGuide Plant Managers to cross-organizational resourcesFacilitate collaboration with internal SMEs for technical issuesHold monthly meetings with local plant leadershipMaintain ongoing communication to address maintenance challengesGenerate monthly reports on technical guidance and maintenance issuesOversee multiple facilities within a geographic areaPhysical Requirements:Repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking.Ability to climb ladders up to 30 feet and walk facilities throughout the dayLifting parts and tools weighing on average 20 pounds, occasionally weighing up to 49 poundsDexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals) manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces.Desired experience and technical skillsRequired10 years maintenance experience; knowledge of commercial building systems essential.5-10 years in building/equipment maintenance with experience in mechanical and electrical systems.Proficiency in diagnosing issues, identifying deficiencies, and recommending solutions.Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and security systems.Baseline knowledge of mechanical/electrical equipment and maintenance processes.Ability to learn core building systems, identify gaps/deficiencies, and assess maintenance status.Effective written and oral communication, problem-solving ability, and engagement with stakeholders.Ability to strategically manage across organizations, adapt to changes, and align with Government Client goals.DesiredBachelor's degree in Engineering#LI-DNI
