Description
SAIC has an immediate opening for a Senior Systems Engineer in Midwest City, OK. The Systems Engineer will research, analyze, assess, and recommend resolutions for technical and supportability software deficiencies revealed in B-1 operational service. This effort shall include technical analysis and assessment of software developed by the Government Prime Integrator, Boeing Co., to include development of tests and recommendations to mitigate software issues, deficiencies, or anomalies that may occur on or off aircraft during software development, laboratory testing, and modifications associated with both RDT&E and sustainment activities. This effort shall include developing recommendations related to the Government Prime Integrator's block cycle software development, modification, and sustainment utilizing an Agile framework and focusing specifically on Software Blocks (SBs) and Agile Software Releases (ASRs). Specific systems, Computer Software Configuration Items (CSCIs), and Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) that may require engineering support include: Avionics Flight Software (AFS), Graphic Controller Software (GCS), Communication Navigation Mission System (CNMS), Central Integrated Test System (CITS), Electrical Multiplex System (EMUX), Integrated Data Acquisition and Recording System Refresh (IDARS), Vertical Situation Display Upgrade (VSDU), Fully Integrated Data Link (FIDL), Multi-functional Information Distribution System (MIDS)/Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS), Identify Friend or Foe (IFF) Mode 5/S, Mass Storage System Replacement (MSSR), Tactical Display Subsystem (TDSS), Main Loader (ML) and Dual Boot Loader (DBL), Crypto/Radio, Other emerging or future systems.
